When I was little I had this recurring dream that I was a white kid growing up in a black family and a black world. This was my worst nightmare, I would try to make myself "black" so I would not stand out. My family ended up calling me the adopted kid and put me in classes to learn how to be black! These dreams made me try to act "black" but it didn't work!
